The card updates on their lock screen the moment it is stamped. They see how close they are on the walk out, not the next time they think to look.

Within about a hundred metres of the salon, the card comes up on the lock screen by itself. Apple phones only, and it is the card showing itself rather than a message being sent.

"The arithmetic"

Five hundred customers, by text: 500 × 4p = £20 a campaign, every campaign. Through the card the same message costs £0 — and £99 a month is the whole bill, whatever you send.

Three taps, and none of them yours to train.

Open the screen, point it at the phone, tap once. Everything else — the count, the reward, the card in their wallet — happens on its own.

"Two tills at once"

Two tills scanning the same person at the same moment cannot both count it. The likelier problem is one person scanned twice in a few minutes — that asks your staff to confirm rather than refusing, because somebody genuinely can have two treatments in one visit.

"If they don’t use a wallet"

Their card still works. It opens as a web page with the same QR code on it, and your staff scan that exactly as they would scan a wallet pass.

These are drawings of the staff screens, not screenshots. Every label on them is the wording the real screens use.

    1Scan

Point it at their phone. No camera? The same screen finds them by name.

  2. Your salonStaff

    2Stamp

One tap. The count moves and their phone has it before they leave.

  3. Your salonYou

    3Your settings

Your side of it. The offer is a setting, and it is yours to change.

Three ways to buy it.

Nothing per customer, per card, per stamp, or per change to your offer.

Plus £200 once, to build it — whichever you pick.

Tell me what your offer is, and I’ll tell you what it takes.

About half a day of work, plus however long Google takes to approve a new account. Until that clears, the card runs in a browser and your staff scan it the same way.

"From you"

  • Your brand kit

Logo and colours. A photo of a business card is enough.

  • Your offer

How many stamps make a card, and what they win.

  • Your shop

Name, location, and one line of terms.

  • A decision on Apple

Whose account the passes sit on. Best settled early.

"From me"

  1. Check your colours

Held against the standard the card is built to. If one fails, you hear which.

  2. Draw your card

Your logo redrawn small enough to still read on a phone.

  3. Set up the wallets

Apple and Google, configured to your salon.

  4. Switch it on

Your own setup, your staff added, your rewards loaded.

"Who owns the passes"

The Apple side sits on B-MO’s account, so the passes stay tied to it. If owning them outright matters, say so on the call — it is far easier to arrange before the first card exists than after.

"If you stop paying"

[TODO: whether the cards keep working, for how long, and whether the customer list is handed over. This needs deciding before the site goes live; it is the first thing a careful buyer will ask.]
